Marie-Thérèse Abena Ondoa is a pediatrician, professor and Cameroonian politician. She was appointed Minister for the Promotion of Women and the Family in 2009.

Before becoming a minister, she worked in universities and hospitals. Particularly, she is:

• Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Yaoundé I;
• Vice-Dean of this faculty, in charge of research and cooperation;
• Head of the Pediatrics Department of the University Hospital Center (CHU) of Yaoundé.

Appointed director of the Yaoundé central hospital on March 17, 2009, she became the first Cameroonian woman to hold this position.

Minette Libom Li Likeng is a Cameroonian politician. She has held the position of Minister of Posts and Telecommunications since October 2, 2015.

She received three distinctions in Cameroon from the program set up by the United Nations entitled Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science at McGill University, where I lead the Data-Intensive Storage and Computer Systems Laboratory (DISCS Lab). My current focus is on storage and persistent memory technologies, with an emphasis on the way we manage large-scale data for machine learning, data science and edge computing workloads. I also hold a status-only appointment at the University of Toronto.

I completed my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Sydney in 2020, advised by Prof. Willy Zwaenepoel. My dissertation research was on the design and implementation of efficient key-value stores for future hardware and performance requirements. My PhD was generously supported by The University of Sydney Faculty of Engineering and IT Dean's Postgraduate Research Scholarship and by the EPFL Fellowship for Doctoral Studies. I have earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Computer Science from EPFL.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

• Performance evaluation and optimization of networks : wireless networks (IoT & wireless sensor networks), embedded networks and systems.
• Complex networks analysis : Google Matrix analysis of networks.

I have been a CNRS researcher at the LIRIS lab since October 2009. Since 2017, I am also the leader of the distributed systems and information retrieval group (DRIM). Before joining CNRS, I was a research associate at University College London (UCL) for two years, working with Licia Capra.

I received my PhD in 2007 from University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6), which I did under the supervision of Valérie Issarny and Nikolaos Georgantas in the former INRIA ARLES project-team (currently MiMove).

I am a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, San Diego, working with Daniele Micciancio.

Currently, I am focusing on the mathematical aspects of applied cryptography. My work lies at the intersection of Mathematics and Cryptography, with particular research interests for discrete logarithm computations in finite fields, lattice-based cryptography and computational number theory. I am interested in both attacks and defenses with a particular interest in using mathematical techniques for obtaining a better understanding of the security properties of commonly used cryptographic primitives in real-world applications.

Stella Bitchebe is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the School of Computer Science at McGill University, working with Prof Oana Balmau in the Data-Intensive Storage and Computer Systems Laboratory (DISCS Lab). I also hold the status of invited researcher at the LIG laboratory at Université Grenoble Alpes. Her main research axes are Systems and Machine Learning (ML). With a background in Systems and a recent interest in ML, she aims to work at their intersection, proposing systems-level optimizations for ML frameworks and algorithms.

Stella received her Ph.D. in France at Université Côte d'Azur under the supervision of Professor Alain Tchana. Her Ph.D. research mainly focused on Operating Systems and Hardware Virtualization. She proposed a novel virtualization research axis called "OoH: Out of Hypervisor." Instead of emulating full virtual hardware inside a virtual machine (VM) to support a hypervisor, the OoH principle is to individually expose current hypervisor-oriented hardware virtualization features to the guest OS. she received my Diploma degree in Computer Science at the Polytechnic School of Yaounde in Cameroon.

I am a PhD student at UCLouvain in Belgium. I am part of ICTEAM Group. In 2022 i graduated my computer science engineer degree in Gabon,Libreville at IAI (African Institute of computer science). I am particularly interested in fields like Cloud, virtual machines, web applications.

My PhD topic is about the edge cloud spectrum. We work especially on adaptation of microservices applications in order to benefit from advantages of edge.
